Cleaning

Subject: Cleaning

Is there a way of doing a proper clean to get back to cvs checkout
material only.

I tried "make clean" and "make maintainer-clean" but this still leaves
lots and lots of Makefiles and config.* files that are created and not
stored in CVS.
