guile modules

Thanks to all who answered to my previous questions,
especially to Peter.

But now, that leads me to the next question:

Can you point me to some information about the guile module system?
especially on how to write a C program, that may be used as a module,
and how to use it then?

Maybe I'm a bit impatient, but till now I didn't understand the 
source code Peter sent to me. (well, I never liked C, and just now 
started with guile, that may be the reason)
