libffi 1.17


In case anyone is using libffi along with the Marius' Guile interface,
I thought I'd mention that I've just put a new version up for grabs
at:

		<http://www.cygnus.com/~green/libffi.html>

There are a few important bug fixes and three new ports (Alpha, m68k
and PowerPC).

These new ports were done by Richard Henderson, Andreas Schwab and
Geoffrey Keating respectively.

Libffi now covers a number of popular platforms. I'm curious to know
if anyone is using Guile on a platform that supports dynamic linking
and isn't x86, sparc, MIPS, Alpha, m68k or PowerPC based.
