Client crashes under "XWin -multiwindow "

I have a client application that crashes under "Xwin -multiwindow" 

 

It works just fine if I use twm or any other window manager.

 

I ran an xmonui | xmond on it and it seems that the trouble occurs when
the client makes a GetGeometry request.
