moving buildlogs out of the src/ directory

Subject: moving buildlogs out of the src/ directory

  i've proposed this before, but can all of the buildlogs/ nonsense be
moved out from underneath the src/ directory in the subversion
repository?  for simplicity, the *only* content that should be under
src/ is that necessary to do an actual build.  thanks.
