MIPS toolchain success with GCC-4.1.0 and binutils-2.16...

Greetings.

I am pleased to announce the successful build of a MIPS cross toolchain
using the following:

   binutils-2.16-20050419
   gcc-4.1.0-20050419
   linux-2.6.12-rc2
   glibc-2.3.4

Patches were necessary for glibc and linux, otherwise the binutils and
GCC off of head CVS trees works. The build process for gcc-4.1.0 has
changed and hence modifications were needed to the main 'crosstool.sh'
script. Tomorrow I will attempt usage of head CVS of glibc. At the end
of the week I will post my patches.
