They are ok as long as the resulting toolchain works

That's expected.  When building gcc-core, glibc is not available,
and those targets need it. But we don't need them in order to build
glibc or the final gcc.

As I said earlier, this is a silly config buglet in gcc-2.95 ... gcc-3.3.3.
It doesn't occur here in gcc-3.4.0.
