And now on to gcc-3.2.3.
I've added the "install bootstrap glibc headers" step as described by Karim.
First nit: Karim forgot to mention that, in addition to gnu/stubs.h, features.h must be copied by hand when installing glibc headers before building bootstrap compiler. See e.g. http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2002-01/msg00900.html http://www.redhat.com/embedded/technologies/resources/deblaquiere2.pdf
Second nit: I get an error building glibc-2.2.5 with gcc-3.2.3 (see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-hacker/2002-05/msg00024.html for first report of the error) unless I apply the patch http://sources.redhat.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/libc/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/Attic/errlist.c.diff?r1=1.8&r2=1.9&cvsroot=glibc
(I'm using the gcc, glibc, and binutils recommended by the linux-sh project. I probably ought to look at what patches they applied, eh?) - Dan
