not really... FreeBSD and NetBSD may be distant cousins, but they are
separate software projects with separate design goals.

I run NetBSD on my MIPS-based DECStations.

there currently is a push by NetBSD developers to bring up-to-date GNU
tools into NetBSD. look for posts from Rafal Boni on the binutils list.
