Automake 1.7.3b uploaded (beta for 1.7.4)

Hi people!

Here is a snapshot of the 1.7.x branch of Automake.

  ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/automake/automake-1.7.3b.tar.gz
  ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/automake/automake-1.7.3b.tar.bz2
  ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/automake/automake-1.7.3b.tar.gz
  ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/automake/automake-1.7.3b.tar.bz2

I hope we can release 1.7.4 by the middle of next week
and that 1.7.4 will be the last of the 1.7.x series.

If you can, please test it and report any problem you encounter to
<bug-automake at gnu dot org>. If you have sent any bug-report that hasn't
been answered, consider sending it again, or fill a PR at
http://sources.redhat.com/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl?database=automake

Here is a list of changes since 1.7.3. Thanks to all those would
helped by reporting bugs or sending patches.

Bugs fixed in 1.7.3b:
* Tweak the TAGS rule to support Exuberant Ctags (in addition to
  the Emacs implementation)
* Fix output of aclocal.m4 dependencies in subdirectories.
* Use `mv -f' instead of `mv' in fastdep rules.
* Upgrade mdate-sh to work on OS/2.
* Don't byte-compile elisp files when ELCFILES is set empty.
  (this documented feature was broken by 1.7.3)
* Diagnose trailing backslashes on last line of Makefile.am.
* Diagnose whitespace following trailing backslashes.
* Minor documentation fixes.
* Multiple tests are now correctly supported in DEJATOOL.
