Hello!
Is there any standart way to handle texinfo documentation in multiple
languages?
Let me explain. I'm maintaining a package named foo. It is documented in
foo.texi. Somebody contributes foo-fr.texi which is a French translation
of that document. It's a great contribution, I'm not going to reject it.
Now the questions:
What name should I give that file in the source package?
What should be the names of the processed info files?
Where should the info files be installed?
Is there any way to make "info foo" do the right thing dependent on the
locale settings?
Is there any kind of Automake support for this scheme (if it's needed)?
Regards,
Pavel Roskin
